Evangelina Galvan Shreeve

Evangelina Galvan Shreeve is a seasoned leader with a track record of effectively guiding strategic innovation and cultivating highly engaged teams that consistently deliver results. With over 25 years of experience in policy and public administration, she is known for her expertise in navigating and influencing policy, conducting relationship management, and building dynamic initiatives for organizations.
Galvan Shreeve serves as the Acting Deputy Director of Human Resources at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL). Prior to her role as acting deputy director, she served as the Director of STEM Education and Workforce Development; she developed and stewarded the lab-wide STEM education and workforce development strategy to simultaneously accomplish the scientific mission and workforce goals of the lab.
Galvan Shreeve has gained national recognition for the work, quality, and impact of the programs she has led in STEM education and has been tasked with training other national laboratories and STEM leaders on how to follow similar approaches. Her career has been consistently marked with a commitment to quality, excellence, and innovation.
Beyond PNNL, Galvan Shreeve has provided leadership in higher education and human resources for a variety of organizations. She has served as a board member for numerous federal, state, and local programs and organizations, building an impressive network in the areas of workforce development, higher education, government, and research institutions. Notably, in February of 2021, Galvan Shreeve was invited to serve as one of nine members on the Washington Student Achievement Council (WSAC). Appointed by the Washington State Governor, the WSAC provides strategic planning, oversight, advocacy, and program administration to support increased student success and higher levels of educational attainment for students in Washington.
As a first-generation, bilingual college student, Galvan Shreeve earned her Master of Public Administration and Policy from the University of Washington’s Evans School of Public Policy and Governance and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Washington.
