Idaho National Laboratory is a proud sponsor of the C3E Women in Clean Energy Symposium. This event plays an important role in energizing, engaging and empowering women to develop clean energy solutions. INL is diversifying its workforce and creating a culture in which everyone is valued for who they are and what they bring to the table. Integral to producing the results our nation needs, INL is proud to be part of a movement that is creating diverse workforces in clean energy industries. Progress is happening, but there is still work to do. We must be active in our communities, inspiring more young women to pursue science, technology, mathematics and engineering subjects. Women in the energy industry still need more opportunities for advancement. These are just some of the components in the quest to develop the secure and clean energy needed to power the U.S. economy and protect our environment.
